Serbia Sprint Retrospective & Scrum User Group Serbia

We imagined this event as retrospective after big welfare CSM event organized in June 2009. The idea was that most people who came to training in June had tried to implement Scrum in their companies, and at this retrospective we wanted to discuss on how this sprint went, share experiences and learn.

The event was sponsored by the Software Engineering Laboratory of the Faculty of Organization Science, as well as by professor Sinisa Vlajic, who provided the space at  the Faculty, as well as promoted the interest in the event itself.

Talking about various challenges emerging during the implementation of Scrum in real life was a formidable experience. I think everyone found the hearing of others’ experiences quite useful.

It was this meeting that preceded our group’s recognition by the Scrum Alliance as an official user group: http://www.scrumalliance.org/user_groups/82

Update: we have decided to host Scrum User Group Serbia as part of Agile Serbia discussion group: http://groups.google.com/group/AgileSerbia
